Starting Point

Site History & Existing Conditions: The interconnect system is a traffic signal communication system that allows traffic signals to be remotely controlled from the Traffic Control Center located at the City’s Department of Public Works. The city's first interconnect system was installed Downtown in the 1990s. An additional traffic signal communication loop was added to the Westside along West Genesee Street in the 2010s.
